CDM – Cardan Angular Joints

Expansion compensators designed and built to absorb with high flexibility movements relative to pipings, machines or devices in general.
A complete range that can compensate for all movements that can be caused by thermal variations, inertia forces, structural failures and misalignments.
Consequently, the fields of application are extremely broad and cover practically every industrial sector and beyond.

CARDAN ANGULAR PIECE
Consisting of a single bellows, it is obtained by adding a pair of pins to the simple angular piece so that
it can be oriented in all directions. This compensator allows angular movements on
two planes perpendicular to each other.
These joints are sized to withstand the bottom thrust of pressure.
The system thus composed absorbs the rectilinear movement of the line transforming it into angular movement.
For this purpose, the cardan compensators must be installed using suitable articulated compensation schemes installed in pairs or triad.
Based on the installation distance between the joints, important expansions with very limited thrusts can be
compensated for on the anchors.
