Humidity and impurities in the steam, such as water particles or dirt, cause increased wear in the system. Condensate separators remove humidity and impurities from the steam line, thus extending the useful life of control valves, heat exchangers and other steam users, resulting in an increase in the reliability of the entire system.

The particles flow into the lower part of the separator and are discharged through a condensate drain (float series UNA recommended).
